2011 Season

The crowds are slowly starting to build as the days get closer to Halloween. We've been getting A LOT of positive feedback from costumers and haunt rating groups. You can now Rent-A-Monster to hold your hand in the dark and guide your way! for just $10.00 plus your admission ticket.

AND ALSO SOMETHING NEW THIS YEAR Too scared to go in alone? Want to go in but don't have anybody else to go with you? Need somebody to hold your hand in the dark? No problem, now you have the option to rent-a-monster, one of our "more friendlier" monsters to help guide your way through the haunted house. For just $10.00 dollars PLUS the admission price ticket you will receive a special ticket and once you get front of the line our staff will call in your monster. You may also rent-a-monster with a group.

CALLING ALL MONSTERS!!!

Do you think you got what it takes to be a gruesome frightening creature? Scare the shit out of Detroit and make new friends? We will be holding auditions for the 2011 season on Saturday August 26th 12noon-4:00pm AND Sunday August 27th 12noon-4:00pm. Experience is a plus but not necessary. These will be volunteer positions with long sweaty nights until 2:00am or possibly later. Some actors will be rewarded for taking on best monster of the night. It's heating up at The Deadland

It's already going on mid July and things are crankin along here at The Deadland. Many of the new rooms are near completion with just some minor tweaking to do here and there. There still is plenty of work to be done until September because we want to make sure we give Metro-Detroit the BEST haunt experience ever! This just isn't another black wall haunt with a skeleton in the corner. The Deadland has been known since the beginning of our first season in 2007 for the amount of detail that goes into each and every room. This is going to be our BEST year yet with so many new surprises in store for you!
